The Annual Wellness Visit is covered by Medicare Part B
Assisted living facilities can bill Medicare for the visit if the exam was reviewed by a doctor, qualified non-physician practitioner or medical professional supervised by a physician
During an appointment with the patient, the provider accesses the portal with the patient’s Medicare ID and selects the survey to process.
The provider asks the patient the survey questions, and inputs data accordingly until the survey is complete.
